Garry started OrthoMedix at the Southvale Medical Plaza in 1992. Until a building fire in 2009 necessitated the move to St.Laurent location.

He grew his patients portfolio to over 25000 over the years.

2022 Podocanada acquired OrthoMedix, and Garry became part of the new team.

2025 Garry retired after decades of service.

Lucie started her career in the health care field as a Personal Support Worker in a nursing home 30 years ago.

In 2018, her father Garry hired her to work side by side with him at Orthomedix looking after customers and fitting their footcare needs.

In 2022, Lucie became part of the new Podocanada team and we are glad to have her on board. 

Since October 2017, Lori has been instrumental in the administration, reception and client service of the front desk along with assisting in the selection of orthopedic appliances and footwear.

Lori has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Carleton University. She has an extensive background in both the private and public industry with a focus on administration, client services, and human resources. 

Lori has an avid interest in real estate and investments.

Sonia Emuan, a registered practical nurse, brings extensive experience and a
compassionate approach to Podocanada. she offers a unique blend of clinical expertise and comprehensive care. Certified by the Canadian Association of Foot Care Nurses (CAFCN). Insured member of the Practical Nurses Association of
Ontario (WeRPN). Sonia is committed to serving the Ottawa community with
the highest standard of care. She treats all clients with dignity, kindness, and respect.

Elsa joined the PodoCanada team in May 2024, assisting customers and ensuring a welcoming and smooth experience for all visitors.With a background in Media and Design from Algonquin College, Elsa brings creativity and attention to detail to PodoCanada's store and website. She is also in charge of maintaining PodoCanada's website, keeping it up to date and running efficiently.Outside of work, Elsa is a dedicated martial artist.
